Garrett is an environmental scientist and entrepreneur specializing in sustainable forestry, soil carbon management, and carbon sequestration. With over 20 years of experience in research and technology development, he has led innovative land stewardship projects with First Nations communities across British Columbia. His work spans soil carbon projects, forest carbon monitoring, bioenergy, and forestry residue utilization, supported by award‑winning collaborations with WWF‑Canada. At Innovatree Carbon Group, he leads the technical team and project portfolio focused on scalable carbon sequestration and climate adaptation solutions in forestry landscapes.
