Joel Benesh

Joel Benesh holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Algebraic Geometry, with a strong foundation in analytical thinking, statistical modeling, and complex problem solving. At Innovatree Carbon Group, he works as a Data Analyst supporting forestry, forest carbon budgeting, and geospatial projects across British Columbia. His work includes developing GIS and Python-based workflows, analyzing LiDAR and forest inventory datasets, and producing spatial analyses and reporting products to support forest carbon and ecosystem management initiatives. He is also involved in developing enhanced forest inventory methods using LiDAR and remote sensing data, while working with ArcGIS Pro and CBM-CFS3 to support data-driven decision making and streamlined analytical workflows.
