Sarah Brownlee

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of the Fraser Valley, where she built a foundation in environmental science, spatial analysis, and ecosystem management. She joined Innovatree Carbon Group in 2023 and works at the intersection of geospatial analysis and carbon monitoring to support ecological restoration projects across British Columbia, with a focus on wildfire-affected landscapes. Sarah’s work integrates field-based data and spatial analysis to support carbon quantification, environmental reporting, and data-driven decision-making. Beyond her technical contributions, Sarah has helped develop carbon monitoring guides, training materials, and community-based stewardship initiatives that support Indigenous-led land restoration and long-term environmental sustainability.
